Talk about a flashback to 1983! This show easily could have taken place at The Mabuhay Gardens or The On Broadway 25 years ago. From the guitar driven sound of old school South Bay punk-rockers Ribzy, to the frantic vocals of Social Unrest front man Creetin K-oS, to the living legend that is Jello Biafra, it was an evening of punk rock in it's purest form. And after seeing Jello on stage with Amebix and Fucked-Up earlier this year, it was so cool to see him on stage at a venue as small as Annie's, especially with his band (Ralph Spight, Billy Gould, John Weiss, and Kimo Ball) behind him again. This show totally brought me back to my youth, and It is so awesome to see bands that have been around for so long still sound so good. See More of my pictures HERE.
